Misled by Timothy Wenk - What more could you ask for? Misled was created by FISM award-winning inventor Timothy Wenk and performed exactly as described in this booklet by David Copperfield on international television!
The Effect A 20 dollar bill and (in most cases) a pencil are borrowed from a member of the audience. The borrowed bill may be marked for later identification if desired.
You proceed to use the pencil to pierce a hole in the center of the bill-there\'s no doubt that the pencil is truly through the bill. Watch the audience gasp (especially the bill\'s owner) at what happens next...you rip the pencil through the bill-the audience clearly sees the pencil rip through and they can hear the sound of paper ripping! Yet, somehow the bill is left completely unharmed!
You offer to repeat the effect, this time the pencil mysteriosly melts through the bill in slow motion-it looks unbelievable! Both the pencil and the bill may then be handed out for complete examination.
Comes with very special gimmick, pencil and detailed instruction booklet.

THIS TRICK IS THE BOMB-DIGGITY! Add to cart. It's great!
I've been using Misled for years and years now, and it has always been and may always be part of my Absolute Arsenal. Now I will say this, it's not an effect I do all the time. In fact, there are weeks when I don't use it at all. But when the timing and conditions are right, I always have this on me and ready to go, because I know it's gonna KILL.
The effect is simple and fairly straightforward. Beware, there are serious angle issues with this effect, so you will want to put in practice time in front of a mirror, or even better, a camera, in order to make this trick look great. You will also want to practice a solid patter to go with this, otherwise the effect will lack punch. The trick is great, however, and can be performed many ways.
In my opinion, there is no other pen-thru (or in this case, pencil-thru) that I have EVER seen or performed that is better than this one. It's that good, but unlike its counterparts, it takes more work and practice to pull this one off. Definitely not a virtual self-worker like many other pen-thrus.
Classic. I have performed this for friends, family, and professionally during walk-around gigs. It always gets a great reaction. In my opinion, this is and always will be better than any of the "pen-thru-bill" effects because both the pencil AND the bill may be borrowed. Misled stands out and is better than all of the imitations. Do not be fooled by the simplicity of the effect or the method. Take the time needed to read the manuscript. Read and take to heart what Copperfield did "wrong" when he performed this on t.v. Practice and make every move appear natural. There is a reason that Copperfield performed this on national television - with the proper amount of time and practice, it is just a great effect.

I love this trick

Get this. It is so adaptable to the environment it is in. It can be close-up or parlour. Great for restaurants and while it does take some practice, it is visual candy and to the audience, it seems as though it can be examined immediately after.

Misled

The thing that separates this from all the other pun through dollar routines is that you can actually control the depth of the penetration. Start of with just a little bit poking through and then push it through a little more. The only problem that I have is that I find the handling a bit unnatural for me. Other than that, this is a great product. On the plus side, it can also be handed out for inspection afterwards with no switch outs.

Strong effect

This is a strong effect, but you can only do it with specific pencils. It's great, though, because you can push and pull the pencil and and out of the dollar unlike the stealth pen! I would recommend it highly. It even makes a great follow-up with the stealth pen!
