Cannot recommend this dvd enough. This suits me (and for those improv. performers) because this trick can be done under any situation, walkaround being my favorite, and you can leave all those gimmicks at home cuz all you need is a shoelace (though greg supplies you w/ a "security cord"). Another great thing about this dvd is that you don't have to be super good at coin magic (though it does help) in order to do this routine. It gets you away from cards and people's ideas in their heads "Is this going to be another card trick?" even though the intention to your card magic may be totally different (ironically I have spent 3 years focusing on card magic). The point is that you will learn more than you ever need to know to do a rope and ring trick from this dvd. And hey, it's sleight of hand at it's finest!

The ring leader to me is a gem of a trick. This turned into one of my favorite close up magic tricks i preform. I started carrying a ring and a string were ever i go. First people think im weird when i bring it out. Then they think im weirder because of the impossable magic that i just preformed.
Moral- If you like what you saw in the preview and once it's back in stock, go for it. You won't regret it.

This DVD is great. There is a veritable plethora of ring moves--even ones without the string. Only 4 stars because I think is card DVD, Card Stunts, is better.

I'm a huge fan of Gregory Wilson but this DVD blows the top off of what's capable in his "packs small plays big" philosophy of close-up routines, it's a definite score and I promise you will not be disappointed when you get this... the disc is loaded with stuff that you will have no problem adding to your walkarounds, none of which are really hard or sneaky sleights... in two short days I was performing it in my local pub and got instant "how'd you do that?" results... it's clean, quick, smart magic that really packs a punch, guaranteed to be a keeper in your collection...
