I'm not a big fan of coin work, but to me this one is just a little silly. It's more of a novelty effect than something you'd actually want to build into your routine. I could also see you getting good squeals during a kids' show.
If you plan on performing this, make sure your real penny is nice and shiny, unlike in the instructional video. Otherwise, the initial switch looks very obvious (just like in the instructional video). As for the problem of how to palm a gigantic penny without being detected, aside from sticking with kids' shows, I don't have a good solution to that problem.
If you're obsessed with coin effects, this might be appealing to you. Otherwise, I can't see this being a good choice.

Gregory Wilson has yet again put out another fantastic product. This trick has been around for a while but it's still stunning. I received this trick from a magician friend of mine and it's really fun to perform. It is going to take some time before you can get it right but it's worth it. The props you receive with this are really good quality and like all of Gregory Wilson's stuff, the explanations are good too.

Pack small plays large. This is perfect for strolling, bars, restaurant, and children shows. Intermediate to experience will pick this up very quickly. Perfect for a ongoing coin routine.

This trick is so simple but gets me more wow factor than I ever thought it would. It's a crowd pleaser. Easy to perform. I reccomend it for beginners to professionals.
