When compared to other invisible elastic thread this is excellent considering how much you pay for it. However, this reel of thread is supposed to be 1000 feet long. I have used my entire roll and I was only able to make approximately 400 invisible elastic bracelets. And I only use 10 inches of thread for each bracelet. If you're wondering how I went through an entire roll of thread that quickly it's because I sell invisible elastic bracelets on eBay. While making my invisible elastic bracelets I found that there were many places on this spool of thread that had flaws and that after I got the bracelet tide they broke extremely easy also I got to the end of the spool of thread and found that the last 100+ feet of thread was completely unusable. My guess is that they had the tension on the thread too tight while they were winding the spool because the thread on the end of the spool was thinner and didn't stretch as much as the thread that was on the rest of the spool. However when you consider how much you pay for the other invisible elastic threads even though a lot of the thread you get off of this pool is unusable it is still a better deal. Just make sure that you give every single elastic bracelet a test run after you make it otherwise you might think that your bracelet is good to go and then come performance time it'll break on you.

I bought this after reading the I.E.T. review in Penguin Monthly. Great price, ties nice but unfortunately it shines. I tried using a black marker on it but it still shined. I know about lighting and compared it to three other I.E.T.s under the same light. All three were tied into bracelets and then compared while in a stretched condition. Sorry but I'd only use it in very dim light. It's not the worst I.E.T. in my drawer but it's not the best either.

I give this product 3 stars because it is very visible but strong.

Used several invisible thread , this product is the strongest and still maintains the cloak of invisibility. Highly recommend

This is a new IET for this website.
Because of the price and quantity the product seems like a very good deal. Especially for magicians out of USA where getting these type of products is a little harder. So having a lot of it comes in handy. But steer away.
This product should be called, ET (Elastic thread) because it is NOT INVISIBLE, it's actually VERY VISIBLE.
This IET cannot be trusted with audiences. Especially in close-up situations.
After two or three performances while strolling I had to replace it, it was too visible.

I have been using IT and IET of and on for a few years. I have purchased a few different Elastics, and this is very strong. Also very thin. I will say that there is some shine. Depending on the lighting, I will use it as is, or color with a sharpie. Again, it is very strong and seems a bit thinner than mesika's. For the price this can't be beat.
