The Effect Imagine your spectator's thoughts, her face only inches away, as she sees you place two coins, a dime and penny, in your left hand.
She watches your hands closely, making certain there's nothing tricky going on... but there are no tricky moves.
You ask her to pick one of the coins. She picks...
You pause for just a moment before opening your hand to reveal that coin.
She's amazed... but, you're not done. You open your other hand to reveal that in an act of pure magic, the remaining coin has left it's partner's side and traveled a horizontal distance of over a foot (only inches from your spectator's face) without being detected.
The coin now sits innocently in your opened hand... both coins are ready to be examined.
It's big brother, Scotch and Soda, is the best selling coin trick of all time.

It's like a scotch and soda but makes much more sense than having an unknown coin and a silver half dollar. It's very deceitful and just a clean vanish this is the real deal, there's so many cool tricks to do with these undesired coins that most throw away, yes pennies, is what I am taliking about. Only hard part is the re-set.
Hi. This is your official PenguinMagic reviewer, B_Magic.
This isn't a bad trick to be honest. It's a similar trick to Scotch and Soda, and though I prefer Scotch and Soda for the bigger coins, this can actually appear more natural and impromtu than Scotch and Soda (because the coins are more commonplace). Everything ends pretty clean as well here. If your just getting into magic, or if you want a more close-up and natural looking scotch and soda effect, this might be the thing for you!

Dime and Penny

Here is a nice little coin transposition that you can do. It works well and everything can be handed out afterwards. The coins are better suited for this trick than the ones used in Scotch & Soda but personally I prefer the bigger coins. Overall though, this is a really cool trick and if you're just starting out with coin magic then this is a great way to go.
