The Effect Set the Block Escape Box, 6 colored blocks and the wooden pen out on a table. Have your spectator choose by touch two of the colored blocks.
Load the blocks back into the box, close the lid and have your audience member confirm, through the holes in the lid, that all 6 colored blocks are in the box. Gently slide the wooden pin from one end to the other through the box. Explain that the box will be able to tell which blocks they touched.
While holding the pin, one side in each hand, turn the box upside down.
The two blocks that your audience member touched, will amazingly fall out.

I didn't know about Penguin Magic when I got this trick. I'm using a cheap plastic one right now, I think I'll toss it for this version instead. The effect on this trick is way cool. I've done it hundreds of times, and it always gets the same reaction...shock. I highly recommend this trick. You will be performing it like a pro within minutes!!

This is so cool, I have shown this to kids, adults, grandparents, great grandparents (I don't know if they are that old but they sure as heck looked like they were!) I had been performed it with a cheap plastic version, which I am throwing away right now! Thanks Penguin, but you are still lacking one thing, a video. I know you guys will have it sooner or later but, hurry it up! People are waiting for such an awesome and easy effect! Houdini would look at this one puzzled!
