This is definitely something that I wish I had picked up earlier than I did.
Many of you were probably like me... "I don't need those DVDs, I know the fundamentals". That is exactly how I felt until I got them.
After watching these moves performed by a master and explained in the BEST ways, I have a new appreciation for the basic sleights.
I really reccomend these DVDs; most of the material was things that I just looked over or never really gave any thought to when reading through the basic texts of magic. IN addition, Daryl teaches some of his favorite moves that he created that you don't find anywhere else!
All taught well, HUNDREDS of moves that you have seen and haven't seen... But most importantly, you get to watch a master who is fantastic at ALL of them breath new life into these.
I should also like to point out that these DVDs are NOT only sleights. Added in between are what Daryl calls, "Trick Breaks". Some you have seen, some you haven't, but these really help to show the usefulness of the moves in context of a routine to really see which ones you like and don't like.
I really reccomend this DVD set, and I only wish I had gotten it sooner.
If your a card worker....heck if you just do magic buy these dvd's. Daryl teaches some great tricks as well as moves in which you can create your own. He goes into great detail and there is great camera angles so you can see him do the sleight. Buy them and you will enjoy!!!!!

These DVDs are why I am a magician, everything involves a regular deck, making everything examinable. Unbelievable amount of tricks you can create with these sleights. I'd chop off my big toe for this set. Daryl's the best.

I don't know why there are just little reviews on the Daryl's Encyclopedia of Card Sleights Set(1-8), I got the set last day, first of all, I wanna say thank you PenguinMagic, they ship my package on time, It let me watch and learn those sleights from the set in this weekend, PenguinMagic, I love you ^_^
Secondly, Daryl's is really great teacher on Card Magic, I like his teaching style, if you follow his step, you can understand clearly and know what he is doin' for sure, There I wanna to say, if you wanna be card worker, don't think anymore, just buy the whole set (Vols 1-8), if you get this set, you will be busy in the next few year for sure, one more thing, in this set, Daryl will teach some tricks in every Vol, those are really priceness, and the set include everything you need to know and you have to learn in Card Magic, if you don't buy this set, don't say to people that you are Magician..OKIe.....^_^
PS ( If there are 10 stars, I MUST give 10 out of 10 for sure, and give it highest highest highest)
YO, EVERY BEGINNER MAGICIAN, WAKE UP, JUST BUY THIS WHOLE SET, THEN STAY AT HOME, JUST DO IT ^_^
