Are the gimmicks in Jay Sankeys Devil's Tail a normal ring and string?

I'm only interested in performing impromptu magic with non-gimmicked equipment. Is the equipment included with the DVD normal?

Yes you can use the cord with Ring Leader, although its not as "modern" looking. Looks like a piece of rope you would use for a magic trick opposed to an ordinary "street" rope

It appears that the devils cord(due to an previously posted answer here) is ungimmicked, so in theory I could use the cord that came with ring leader?
