Best Mentalism Impression Device (mainly for card tricks)
Hey everyone. I have posted a few questions about Psypher when I got it and have high functioning autism so I am very particular and have trouble understanding sometimes how things work. I own psypher and steam 2.0. Two different complete effects, i'm not so much into steam As with with Psypher, it fits my kind of magic as I do a lot of card magic and mentalism. It's nice to put the gimmick in a card box or however you want to use it the problem is I'm getting terrible impressions and I even brought it to a local magic shop and they couldn't do it either so I did a lot of research read a lot of mixed reviews I'm sure there's nothing that's perfect out there however I am interested in hearing what you guys know of for a good impression device similar to Psypher but the next step up. If it was more money I would consider it I know there's a lot of wallets and things like that but I don't know how they all work if it's the same concept that psypher uses? The thing I don't like about Wallet is that I like being able to do something like the invisible deck or the GPS Deck where I can put the gimmick in the box and then I'll get the impression the way you guys know of I don't want to give it away obviously On here, so I'm sure you know what I am trying to explain as far as how that would work with cards. I would keep psypher but it's just been completely unreliable I have the marker that came with it in addition to an additional sharpie I have played with the secret part of it to see if I get a better result or if it was another part of the gimmick that comes with it to make it work instead of the sharpies but the impression does not go through the back of a deck of cards with a sticky note or in a notebook with a few pages. I followed everything the videos taught me as well as peoples advice on the Internet. I troubleshoot it and tried many different ways for the past 5 days nonstop, with methods of keeping it thinner or thicker or checking the secret component of it and the bottom line is it's just not something I feel comfortable with using because I really like the concept but it looks like nothing in the video where his come out so beautiful and mine kind of Dissipate and vanish kind of like once someone makes a prediction it'll just fade away or just not show up readable at all.
So to my point of this question I have gotten a feel for steam and psypher. Steam I have had for a very long time. I am looking for something that's a quick and easy to go Device whether it is a Wallet or if it is a another impression device, I have also been for Milyer hearing of Fairplay and freedom writer but I haven't use those kind of concepts before also I don't know if you could put those in a deck of cards. Something that will enable me to have the ability To use it inside of a deck of cards if that's not possible and you guys know of different impression devices or wallets that you would say use this for the prediction and then just use your deck of cards I can do that easily so that's why I am open to the wallets but I know there are so many different kinds. At the expo they had the blind man's wallet something like that, and I know there's a bunch all over so something that has an impression typed feel that is reliable worth the price I would pay ideally between 20 to 45 but if I had to go out to 100 that's my max. Sorry about the long question but I wanted to explain as thorough as I could to hopefully get the best suggestions and opinions on what you guys know is out there something absolutely great that has all star reviews . I know it's not gonna be 100% nothing is but what I have now is not cutting it and I don't feel comfortable performing with it until I have a better utility impression or some sort of mentalism system.
