Does switchbox come pre constructed?

I recently purchased retrieve and was very disappointed by the arts and crafts and quality of materials. Although I cannot be certain, it appears that switchbox works on the same principle. If so, does anyone know if this product comes pre assembled and are the materials used of high enough quality to go unnoticed by an average audience?
