I'm not sure which effect your talking about but I'm gonna take a guess and say pro aces by Paul Gordon? If so yes he offers advice and tips on doing the faro shuffle. I'm fortunate enough to have known how to do a faro shuffle for about 10 years now and once you got it down you'll be able to do it perfectly good luck!
