gypsy balloon

why with the # 1 gypsy balloon version there was 30 feet of thread and there is none provided with version 2.0

This is an instant download of an updated version of the original using Mylar balloons.
Yes, this download includes both versions, the initial and the new Mylar 2.0.
Someone has decided to keep the price the same, even with the instant download, and let you get your own thread.
I wouldn't think that would be too big an issue.
So, I guess that you'll be going to Walmart for the 'thread'
