Is the psypher sharpie a normal sharpie?

I was thinking of buying a few xtra psypher sharpies with psypher, but I just want to know whether I should or shouldn’t, Can I just buy a sharpie anywhere and use it the same as a psypher sharpie?

It is not a normal Sharpie.

While you might be able to make one yourself once you own one and know how it works, that would depend on your do it yourself skill level. And, you would need to buy the extra material.

It writes normally and could be inspected quite closely but it has been gimmicked in a specific way. You cannot just purchase one of these Sharpies at the store, you must use the Psypher Sharpie for this to work correctly.
