Professor’s Nightmare from lon rope

I’m looking for an explanation on how to cut one long rope into three parts and then do professor’s nightmare.
Just to clarify I’m not looking for how to prepare the ropes but how to cut rope on stage.
Thanks in advance!

No as I stated I’m not loking for how to prepare the ropes.
I want to begin with one long rope pretend to cut it in three equal parts and then perform professor’s Nightmare

If you're asking what lengths the ropes should be, here's a discussion: https://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewtopic.php?topic=145818
