RED PILL with or without gimmick!?

I Saw there is a video download of RED PILL by Chris Ramsay without the gimmick and a DVD with gimmick. So can I build the gimmick by myself/buy it additional?!?

I asked Chris Ramsay and he said, " you can get it in the DVD or build it at home. your choice." But that doesn't really answer if we would be able to make it at the same level as the pre made gimmick.
