I'm not sure that there is a way to, as you suggest, "to make it easier".
Since you have Regeneration, you're acutely familiar with how the gimmick works and how to make new ones as Craycray suggests.
Making the actual gimmicks are much more challenging vs. the practice gimmick.
Card splitting is involved, and your arthritic hands would certainly make it more difficult.
Card splitting can be a challenge even without arthritis.
Again, the refills are available thru Theory 11. You get 15 refills for $29.95...effectively $2.00 ea.
Simply, with all the time and effort required to make each gimmick, the refills are still a good value.

To confirm @MYoda, Theory 11 does have refills for this trick. To get access to the refills, if you didn't order from them, you'll need to prove that you ordered the DVD from someone. A pic w/you holding the box should suffice.
Contact them directly for specifics.

Your best bet, since this is a 5 year old trick, is to make contact with Theory 11. They did the initial release for Blake years ago.

If you actually own the effect, he basically tells you how the gimmicks are made. But he doesn't show you the process. If you're good at card splitting then you could make your own. I've been making my own and they haven't been an issue for me. They aren't extremely easy to make on your own, but if you have the patience and are willing to put in the time, then you'll save yourself some money by making your own.
