Speechless

Is it guaranteed to work every time? Or it only works if spectator is willing to go along with you. I would think the latter.

With a little practice it works almost every time, and they genuinely can't swallow no matter how hard they try. Naturally, some people will be better volunteers than others, but you'll be getting some great results almost from your first performance.

This routine probably won't work every time when you first start out. You'll have to practice on a few friends and those times might flop a little, but you'll pick it up and start to understand and your hits will be more frequent!

There is no "guarantee" with any performance piece. Even my macbook isn't guaranteed to work exactly every time. Just most of the time.

I've seen people mess up an Ambitious Card routine. There is no guarantee of success with any mentalism or magic trick. They all depend on the skill level, experience, and ability of the performer.

Speechless works for me every time as long as I follow the guidelines and conditions and select participants that meet my criteria. I can only speak for myself and my own experiences, but with anything it takes practice to master. Speechless is not a difficult technique to master but it does take confidence and showmanship to get the best results.
