Takamiz Usui VS Steven Brundage?

How is Takamiz's material different from those in Cube3 by Steven Brundage? The effects described in Takamiz's live lectures don't appear too different from those taught by Steven.

The main technique taught on Cube 3 was originated and created by Takamiz. He's the inventor.

Cube 3 focuses on solving the cube. Steven teaches how to actually solve the cube and then he shows several methods that allow you to solve the cube magically. On Cube 3 you learn how to magically solve a cube in a bag, a couple ways to solve the cube as you wave your hand over it, and you learn a couple methods to solve the cube by just tossing it in the air.

In the Takamiz Usui Live Lecture you do not learn how to solve the cube in as much detail, but he gives you methods and resources if you cannot solve a cube by yourself. You will need to know how to solve the cube to perform the material but his lecture has a different focus. You will learn how to make a cube vanish, or change shape while held by a spectator in a bag. You will learn how to cause a signed cube to penetrate a table. He teaches a method that allows the spectator to solve the cube under a handkerchief and he teaches how to cause a mixed cube to match a prediction.

In short you learn how to solve a cube in Cube 3, in the Live Lecture you learn penetrations, predictions, and transpositions with a Rubik's Cube.
