Torch to rose by Sumit Chhajer

I like this trick and I think its romantic, but what if I perform it and want to give that rose to a girl to keep, can I do that? Would it kill the impression if she found out about the gimmick?

The torch to rose gimmick is self contained so you can't hand out the rose after the change.

This is more of a stage piece so if you wanted to hand out the rose you could do some sort of switch behind a table but for closeup there really aren't a lot of options.
