True Triumph is very easy to do.
Mr. Cummins uses two flourishes that might be difficult to master for beginners, these are optional. The three most difficult moves are a spread, a spring, and a faro shuffle. A normal riffle shuffle can replace the faro shuffle without a problem. The cards do not have to be sprung from hand to hand, this is a flourish and he teaches an alternative "move" that you can use. The cards do need to be spread on a table of other soft surface, that's the only requirement.
You will need to legitimately shuffle the deck as part the routine, so no you can't use a stacked deck without changing the routine significantly.
Just about anyone can ribbon spread the deck if they have a good set of cards and a soft surface. A card spring is not needed but it's fairly easy to learn. I assume the reviewer is talking about the faro shuffle. The faro is a more advanced move but it is doable and a normal shuffle works just fine.
I can do a faro shuffle without a problem but I actually prefer the look of a normal riffle in this effect and that is how I will be performing it.
