Books and DVD's are your best bet. It's like 20 tricks for the price of 1. Born to Perform with Oz Pearlman is great for beginners. And Then There were Coins is also a great place to start. If you like books The Royal Road To Card Magic and BoBo's coin magic are must haves. Then the Amature Magicians Handbook then Tarbell when you are ready. That should cover you for the next 2 years if you are willing to practice.
