great cut and restored handkerchief Report this review

The first cut and restored handkerchief is great, and fooled me. I wish a little more time would have been spent on the "move". I also would like some suggestions for where to buy cheap handkerchiefs in bulk, since a magician will go through a lot of them if they start doing this trick.

The thread tricks are good, and new to me, but require thread that matches the color of your jacket, so are probably rather limited in actually being able to be used.

The third routing with small silks marked/printed RED and WHITE is very strong. Problem is, they require messy arts and crafts with spray paint to create the 4 necessary printed silks. A source to buy the silks already printed with the words would make this routine more likely to be done.

This is one of the shorter/shortest videos, which made it easier to get through, but less value wise than some others which are a good 2 hours. Dan is a great and clear lecturer as always.

Unfortunately, like all lessons in this series, there is no table of contents, or volume control. I can't understand why this has not been addressed and fixed in 89 lessons!

Download the video to your computer by clicking the "filmstrip" icon. Then you can play it using VLC Media Player & can control the volume. Also download the PDF file which has the timestamps for each of the effects. Hope this helps.

NO.... there is NO LIMITATION to the number of threads that match the colour of ANY jacket. ALL colours of jacket - and other articles of clothing - have a corresponding availability of thread/yarn. There is completely complementality … just go to a sewing store, or to a tailor or dressmaker. I make all my costumes and most of the props and NEVER have difficulty matching colours of thread with costume, nor matching paint colour/s with props.

Maybe you need practice resourcing magic supplies: such resourcing will take you way beyond the magic items shop and the mirror in yer bedroom. Maybe get out and about and look/enquire more and so be less dispirited and disappointed and complaining - and more satisfied.

Also, if yer on the 'be clean' and not be "messy" kick yer indicate maybe performing magic is not for you. Try something else.... maybe humming, or hand-washing
