I've worked with thread reels before but have never repaired them. Anyway, I was excited to try out
the Kevlar reel so I clipped it on and went to the bar. While casually secured the wax pellet and
extended it to tag it to a mug, the thread broke. I was very careful as I have always been with
thread. oh well, no thread work that evening. To add to my disappointment, when I got home, I could
not get the thread out of the reel again, no matter how hard I sucked. Now I need to take it apart
because loops of the thread became unraveled inside the tube. I will not buy these again. I would
rather do thread work without reels now. I will eventually learn how to rethread the reels that I
have but not in the near future. Well, Sorcery, its your turn to suck.
It sounds like you just got a bad one, very sorry about that, please just ship it back to Penguin and exchange it for a good one, it should be obvious with all the five star reviews it is just a bad unit, it happens very rarely but thanks for understanding.
