Hi! Yes, use a cup that gets narrow towards the bottom. Any cups and balls cup should work really, just make sure it isn't too small.

The cup does not have to be silver, the cup isn't really a huge part to this trick, though it is necessary. And I am a beginner of coin magic myself and this is certainly not one of the more advanced coin effects out there. It will absolutely take practice but it's worth it!
