Well, it's definitely a neat little trick. However, just like another reviewer pointed out, it loses
a couple stars for a misleading ad copy. I suppose technically there is no switch, but even Joel
calls it a switch in the video. Also, you must ditch a gimmick, which is a pain. If you're ballsy
you can keep the gimmick out and it could definitely work. Good trick, but also misleading.
There is no mention of a ditch nor that there isn't a ditch? isn't this surely just Joel protecting the secret that is fully explained in the tutorial once purchased? isn't this how we sell a product.... its a beautifully crafted effect from a pro who has years of experience lets just accept it needs a little practice which will give any magician an amazing piece to perform for the rest of there performing days for a few quid, very reasonably priced great effect .peace.
Deano5770, the "now removed" ad copy by Penguin originally stated NO Switch and NO Ditch. this is where the complaints are coming from. It was also the reason I did not buy the download. I knew it was not possible to do without either of those (plus the trailer shows him ditching the prop immediately as he hands out the "Real" signed card)
Well its not a ditch because a ditch implies secretly getting rid of a gimmick
