Mariano teaches a routine with postcards of the 50 US states, as opposed to the spectator picking an object in the room. This is a wonderful option. The idea of labeling the postcards out of sync is brilliant. It puts an interesting spin on the routine. I took the time of making the 50 postcards. It was worth it. I didn’t do the part that he shows with the basket for the cards, though.\r\n\r\nThe other option he shows is using playing-card size photo cards of celebrities. He gives the name of a web site where these can be ordered. I took the time to upload 55 photos, and paid $15, I think it was. Also worth it. I don’t do the part with the modification of the card case, though.\r\n\r\nI love both the postcard and celebrity card routines. They work just as well as the object in the room routine. Personally, I like them better than the object routine, because it clearly shows the spectator that there are 50 or more possibilities that he/she can choose. So the bottom line is, this trick is even better than it looks in the demo video!\r\n\r\nIt’s interesting that you used the phrase “Mess with their mind”. I showed the celebrity card routine to a guy at work. When he looked at his iPhone and saw the correct prediction, first he smiled. Then he got serious and asked me how it was done. When I refused to tell him, he said he would Google it, as he was bound and determined to get the secret. A couple hours later, when he was talking to someone else near my office, he told them very loudly so that I would hear, that he was doing OK until I messed with his mind! LOL! Even after a couple hours, he was still affected by having been tricked! I’m sure he didn’t lose sleep over it, and he was embellishing his reaction. But it was great to see this trick work so well.\r\n\r\nI give it a hundred stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️\r\n\r\n
