I had ordered two of these, and both were defects, I'm very very suprised because I have numerous
items from MIKAME, AND they are great. I might try a 3rd time sometime to give this item another
try.
$10 says you were doing it wrong. This is such an amazingly "indectable" method, without thoroughly reading the directions and then playing with it for a bit, it can actually be difficult to figure out how to get it to work. SIMPLE once you DO thoroughly understand it, but there are several stage of this trick where it would be easy for a performer to mishandle it and cause it to not work. I'm betting that's what happened here.
I agree with marlinj63. I thought mine wasn't working until I learned the correct position for phase two of the trick. The instructions are not as clear as they should be. Once learned, everything works extremely well and very deceptive.
You have to initially "beat it" into submission (without damaging it) to make it work. I have several Mikame Props and this has to be one of the very best.
Lol, this is one of his best effects.
The fact you didn't get it to work doesn't mean it should receive one star.
This is actually a 5 star effect, easily.
