I had read some disparaging reviews about this effect while waiting to receive it. After performing it a few times I find the negative criticism to be totally unfounded. Nathan Kranzo, your revisions to the original effect are terrific. I found memorizing helps and isn't difficult. And I don't claim to be the brightest candle on the cake.
If you have problems selling this to your audience, I'd advise purchasing books on performance. The problem is not with the effect.
