The flipper quarter was great...while it lasted. Which was about a week. It came undone, and so, according to directions, I placed one drop of super glue on the specific area. Now I cannot get it open at all. Tried solvents to undo the glue, but it won't penetrate. Now it sits in the drawer. I think it was a quality piece, once.

Hello Magi,
Take a lighter and heat up the coin, it will melt the super glue and come apart so you can repair it. Clean off the old glue using a knife (this may melt the rubber band so you may need to clean out the grove too), put your drop of glue on the small part and keep it upside down till dry.

using a heat gun will work better in my opinion to release the glue.
