This is a pretty good idea. I purchased this then waited in anticipation for this to restock and
ship. The trailer demo has it work perfectly...but they have the ability to do retake after retake
until the effect works right. In the real world, it has to work at the time you take it out to do
the effect, which is the first time. I have prepared around 75 of these paper clips, bought them at
all the different places they suggest to buy them, (just in case one brand worked better than the
other) but I have yet to get a single clip to open past one third of what the demo shows. None have
opened even close to what they do on the demo. I wanted this to be good, but if you're looking for
an effect that you know will work when you pull it out to perform for someone, this isn't it. Trust
me, if you pull this out to demonstrate to someone and it works as well as the demo, you will be
just as amazed as the spectator.
Couldn't agree with Tommy from California more. A magician friend of mine and I worked on this effect with literally dozens of paper clips of different brands. Once in a blue moon did the clip bend as shown in the video. ore times than not, the clip bent partially, the rest of the time, not at all. My friend spend more money on paper clips then what the effect cost. Buyer beware is all I have to say.
