Why do you said that?
I bought this model thinking that is a good one. You have to prepare everything, the gimmick dosen't work for this model, as I said, you have do everything as any other CD Boom Box...
@mikelodion13 Everyone else had been complaining about the and how hard it is to find one that works. This one works. Yes you need to do work, but in the end it is worth it.
Yes, the right CD player is necessary or this simply does not work. I recently did this effect and people were blown away. The CD player I found to work well was called GPX CD/Radio Boombox by Digital Products International (www.gpx.com) which I found at Walmart for under $40.00. Hope that helps. Also, the way to know if it will work for this effect or not is to take 5 CD's taped or secured together, bring them into the store, and see if the top lid will close with them loaded. You need that much clearance. Some machines have it and some do not. Hope that helps. Good luck.
