The videos are impressive and look great, but the trick disappoints. Once I received it I doubted
whether using this in someone else's hands (as is done in the trailer) would fly. It did not... not
at all. Another one for the 'useless' drawer.
You could probably get some mileage out of
this if you don't try to hand it to the spectator or your spectator isn't particularly sharp, but
I'm not going to try to pass this off on someone again.
I would have to disagree with this review. Having seen this performed lived by several different performers, in several settings, I can say that it gets great reactions. It does require a great deal of audience management, but it can be done. Two weeks ago, I talked to Garrett about this effect and he uses it daily and has found success with it for over 10 years. You just need the right spectator and the right management skills. I'm sorry you did not find success with the effect but for those of you reading this, know that this effect has power and can be mastered.
