When I'm looking for new material for my performances, I look for methods that are pure, strong, and
look like magic. This effect certainly fits the criteria. It's a real world effect that I would feel
comfortable performing in any venue, including corporate events. It's the perfect balance of shock
value and it's tasteful for any audience.
If you're familiar with the needle effect, I
would suggest you maintain you're typical method for swallowing the needle. In a stage environment,
you need to transition comfortably. The method for the needle appearance is worth the purchase. But
for my performances, I always make the appropriate adjustments to the methods.
I have also
developed an alternate presentation for this effect, which I believe is essential for every
performer. If you are just going to say and do exactly what he does, may as well leave it to him.
Make it your own.
Over all, I would consider this a high-quality, practical, and magical
effect. In my live shows, I only perform one magic effect amongst my mentalism. This effect is
strong enough to be the one effect I do in my show. Highly recommended!
