The book is not high quality. The ink is bleeding through the cheap paper. The pages are glued inside a piece of cardboard, not Smyth-sewn like other hardcover books. The book crackles when its opened and now the pages are falling out because the glue breaks its hold from its binding. The tricks are printed from other magic books like Hoffman and Sachs. Very disappointed.

Hello, I am sorry to see that you are unhappy with your copy of the book... I wonder if you have received a faulty one ( I haven't heard from anyone else about pages falling-out) and, if so, I would be happy to help sort this out.

With regards to the content, none has been printed from Hoffmann or Sachs, though there is some overlap, thanks to Hellis giving Hoffmann lessons. Indeed some of the historical significance of the book is that some of the material can be traced from Hellis to Hoffmann (and in some cases from Charlier to Hellis to Hoffmann.)

All good wishes,

Will
