I've used this in my act a few times. Got great results. I do a coin bend first (and might rub it on sleeve or something while mentioning something "odd" happens when you warm up the coin in this manner) , and have the coin to be frozen signed so this time they know it is in fact the same coin. But while they react to the first coin being bent THIS is the perfect time to spray the signed coin in your hand. Then I simply re-direct attention on the signed coin, place it down somewhere, tell them they can see the moment the magic happens (mentioning that the first time we warmed it up, now lets try something different), blow on it and instead of bending this time, it freezes.
I currently perform in Chicago, but did do this same routine about a month ago in California.
