I bought this directly from Luke. I'm not big into cards but I got two excellent routines from this book. The 1st is a very serviceable, instant set up card switch. I love it.
The 2nd is an awesome little routine that can be done over zoom. It's in as a bonus effect but I really love it.

I'd recommend getting this, especially if you are looking for some new card based mentalism routines

Inconceivable by Luke Jonas is not like this, you can tell from the opening lines that this is real-world tested mentalism, the likes of which is very rare in our current climate.

Too many releases of late have been sheer fantasy engineered by overtired and over isolated brains.

This is not from that same poisoned vein. If you are looking for a fresh breath of air, and some mind-reading with playing cards along the way look no further than this.

Picked this up to learn more about mentalism and got more. Love how Luke talks about the emotions behind the trick.
Pretty easy to follow even for a beginner.

I got a copy of the book via the man himself and I have some good things to say about Inconceivable.
The book is going towards a mentalist's approach and presentation, but it isn't limiting itself to it. It is more a way of highlighting the importance of storytelling in the deceptive arts. Not everything in these pages will be useful for everybody, but there is something in here for everyone. Most chapters mention playing cards, but there is much more.
My personnal favorite entry of the book is Newton's Touch, which I reviewed in detail on its standalone penguin page. Second one would be Breathe, probably because I do love cards. And then I know there is something for me to get from The Lucky Penny D.S. too but I need to tinkle the idea to fit me better I think.
I should mention that the chapter Spirit Animal is about an effect that uses references to the english language. It may require to be a bit creative to adapt it to other ones.
"Five" stars would be for perfection, but I spotted a couple typos and there is a missing "Fig.1" in the Breathe vhapter (the image is missing but the explanations are really clear enough, no worries about this). This would be a "four and a third" if I could.

I bought Inconceivable when I first saw it advertised - the book is amazing value. Some of Luke’s thinking is ingenious and there’s a mixture of close up, stage and parlour magic and a lot of them are versatile.
Newton’s touch was the one which I knew would instantly fit into my walk around set and such a clever idea I’ve never seen before.
If you enjoy a mixture of magic and mentalism then snap this book up before they run out and then wait with me until he releases his next amazing book

I have read this book twice, now. It is not only easy to read, but the tools provided inside it's covers are not only powerful, but also invaluable.

This book is really REALLY good and for only $25! I'm so glad I got mine before they sell out.

The effects within it are worth the price alone but the essays are pure quality as well!
