We bought Kevlar string $(10) and Vector string($20) along with this basic thread($5) to compare. In the end, my 12 yr old son chose the basic invisible thread($5) for his performance because it was the most reliable. The other threads were breaking or slipping out of their wax--including other types of wax that were supposed to be designed for their string.

This is a lot of thread so that means a lot of performances. Very good for animations and suspensions, but it breaks easily but with practice you'll know the breaking point. I highly recommend Steve Fearson's Vectra thread stronger and so much better. Also try the reels they are an enhancement for the IT.

I have purchased this before with 0 complaints. I always love doing the humming bird card effect with IT. However, the thread I got this time is soooooooooo weak. It is so unreliable. I used to live in Pennsylvania where I would levitate/spin peoples drivers licenses. I now live in Texas (where driver licenses are less thick/heavy) and I have a really tough time doing it with even them. It looks the same, feels the same but the strength of the thread is so much worse than I remember. Perhaps I just got a bad batch but wow its noticable.

There are a ton of uses for this stuff. Most all of them involve floating something but can also be used to pull things as well. The thread is incredibly hard to see, but you do have to be weary of the lighting in some situations. The thread material is tougher to break then you'd expect. Takes some practice but can really enhance. I love to use it to float things randomly. Can be preset almost anywhere and then come back later and use it as well.

this thread is the best ive ever used i did it on my teacher and she thought she was seeing things.

This is awesome! It even comes with floating dollar, which I do all the time. Just yesturday I went to the movie theater, and when the movie was done I just let it float there and everyone just sorta stared at it... The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because if you don't wear black, it's really visible.

So check this,i bought this and the magicians wax and it said that i would get it in 7 to 10 days.I got it in 4 days.I just think that this is awesome.It is non striped,but it is easy to strip it.

I recently wrote a bad review about this. BOY was I wrong! This is awesome but I didnt get instructions. Almsot impossible to see. When I practiced it, the bill kept sliding down the string, so that and the no instructions is why it lost a star. Still buy it!
