ELF, a miniature flasher with high illumination, will alert your audience to be impacted by your following effects. Created to be a branch of Cloud 9 System, ELF has common plug hole with Cloud 9. So the two products can be triggered by shared switches. With extra pins installed, ELF outnumbers all the other flashers, because several of them can be connected all together in a row to shoot extremely bright attack.

ELF can be stronger when equipped with EAC Set in Cloud 9 System. Four customized switches working on different principles are contained in EAC, waited to be armed and fired.

Online instructions.

Just Stupid! - AVOID! Report this review

ELF IS NOT A FLASH!

It is just a led with a button that turns it on or off!

This is not a FISM FLASH or a device that sends out a flash of light at all. Its like the light on your cell phone. but not as bright. Its like a flashlight with just ONE LED!
Pretty stupid. Will not "amaze" your audience.

MINUS -1

AVOID!

The only use for ELF that I have come up with is, use it instead of flash paper.

Good Utility Gimmick Report this review

Please understand, this is not a trick, it is a utility gimmick. Some people reviewing have given it low stars due to no "tricks" given. I just purchased a second ELF to compliment some tricks I aleady use. Honestly, I don't know that I even looked at the online instructions :-) For aome ideas of what to use ELF for, watch the demo video, or, look online for some demo's of Fism Flash (or many other flash utility gimmicks...Fism Flash is the first one I remember ... and still own.)

Cute little device. If used carefully, it produces a bright, unexplained flash of light. Very bright, small enough to handle invisibly.

So all in all this product does what it advertises to do. Nothing more, nothing less. I can say that this product does what it is supposed to do and produces a very bright light.
Pros:
- Light is VERY bright, don't look at it too long directly
- Small enough to carry around.
- Can replace batteries if they run out.
Cons:
- Instructions are less than 2 minutes, not too in depth and they have no suggestions at all for how to wear this or even use it in a performance/activate it. This is a big issue for me.
- Even when you try to hook it up on your body yourself, it might be hard since there are two metal points coming out of the device that may poke you
- The light can be hard to orientate at what you are doing (especially if it's in your sleeve or something). You can kind of see where the light is shining from.
- The price is WAY too much for such a simple little thing like this, especially since it doesn't have any instructions really on how to use it. Also, not to mention, electronic magic products are pricy in general but this is just too much in my opinion.
- Not rechargeable. You much buy batteries each time it runs out.

Overall, if you know how you're gonna use this in your magic, then go ahead and try it. If you're just looking to get another thing to play with once then throw in your magic drawer, it's not worth it.
Anyways, hope that helps.
