The color looks amazing. It's like a light darkish green on the backs. The edges aren't totally white either which looks cool. They have almost like a light grayish tint to them. That has it's advantage because they don't show wear as much as normal bikes do. Also, the pips and indexes are in a green color that looks REALLY nice. THe court cards are a little weird but still they look pretty cool at the same time.

I suggest you try these. The card cases aren't normal either. They are like a durable recycled cardboard material that looks really nice and feels really cool too. 5/5!

Man oh MAN, did I not know what to expect when picking up a deck of these cards...

...let me just say that I am MORE than glad I did!

These cards are crazy; below is my review of each facet.

Case:

The case of these cards is really nice as it is made of a LOT heavier cardboard than other cases. If you are like me and don't have a card clip, then this is a facet that you really can't overlook. These have been in the pocket of doom (which is what I call my pocket that for some reason destroys cards) for weeks and the box hasn't even been scathed. For this reason alone, this deck of cards is worth four dollars.

Stock:

The stock on these babies is CRAZY awesome. Feeling smoother and easier to manipulate than ANY other bicycle deck I have ever felt, there truly is a good reason to use re-usable inks and sustainable paper!

Color:

The colors of these cards (not just the backs either; the faces have a nice green shade to them too) is a brilliant green color that is really nice and warm to a viewing audience without straying from that oh-so familiar bicycle back design. If only all decks looked like this...


Overall, I have to say that these and steamboats are tied for my favorite deck of all time. Pick some of these up, do yourself a favour and help save the environment.

I'm a big fan of collecting Bicycle cards, so for me this is a good purchase. They are fun, people talk about them, and they can be very entertaining to use for a poker night, game night, etc. These cards, being recycled, still have a nice smooth finish and seem to wear very nicely.

I warn AGAINST using any unnatural looking cards for performing magic. Many people think it makes them look unique, which it does, but not in the good way they may think. It bring unnecessary skepticism and awkwardness from your spectators who may think even normal looking cards can be faked.

I urge you to not use designer cards for any serious magic performance.
