I like the original gimmick better! Report this review

Comparing this gimmick with the traditional one, this "developed and more reliable" version gimmick is too obvious that may be detected by the audience. This gimmick will not enable you to perform the classic routine developed by Armstrong, Bich and Thomas. Now, I just keep the plunger and throw the gimmick away.

Although this version does not enable you to do John Armstrong's full version of the routine it is a nice short version that does show the virtues of what the Tiny Plunger can do. The gimmick is nicely made and will allow you to do many other card control routines!

Excellent Gimmick Report this review

There are some limitations to this trick regardless of whether you get it from Tenyo or Jon Armstrong. You will need a surface that the plunger does not stick to like a close up mat, table with a cloth on it, or drink coaster.

The gimmick is easy to use and always ready to go. It should last a life time. If it does not then it would not be hard to create a new one from an old deck of cards.

The plunger is well made. You can do the entire Tiny Plunger routine with some very basic card handling.

Not bad but not what I expected Report this review

If you perform Tiny Plunger by Armstrong, Bich and Thomas, you may have come across times when the method occasionally failed due to various conditions. I purchased Magical Plunger because it stated it would make the gimmick more "reliable". What is provided does do what is stated but bare in mind that it will now work opposite of what was used before, so some of the routines you were used to performing may have to be changed or dispensed with. In my case I probably will not use it.
