Pluck large coins from a tiny hole!
MAGIC TWEEZERS

A pair of magic tweezers produces coins too large to fit through a tiny hole in a credit card. Is it amazing? Yes. It's also visually absurd, and will cause laughs of surprise each time a new coin appears. One of Spain's top magicians, Mario Lopez created this novel effect, and Tenyo has developed it in our own unique way to produce a new trick that is sure to baffle.

  1. Show a pair of tweezers and a credit card containing a tiny hole.
  2. Insert the tip of the tweezers into the hole... when you remove the tweezers, a large silver coin appears!
  3. Show both sides of the card - there is nothing to see. Yet, you proceed to produce more and more coins!
  4. Finally, wave the card over one of the coins, and it magically transforms into a dollar bill!
Items included:
Tweezers
Gimmick
Instruction sheet

Original idea by Mario Lopez
New gimmick conceived by Kenichi Komiya

Mario Lopez Lite Report this review

This is the answer to those critics of Mario Lopez's Chinese Tweezers (Tango) who complained the price was too high for cheap ungimmicked props. That effect required major chops and practice. Now Tenyo, working with Mario, has given the world an excuse not to practice his sleights. This one has large solid tweezers and a well made gimmick. Supply your own coin (ungimmicked). This looks good and the angles are manageable. It is the sort of trick which will force a beginner to develop intermediate (but not Mario-level) skills. The price is reasonable.

Something for the magic drawer Report this review

You’ll probably put this in the magic drawer and leave it there because while it is a great idea, well made and, when performed properly, very visual, it has some problems that will keep you from using it. The gimmick is as clever as anything. But you’ll need to practice quite a bit to do it without tipping the secret, and you have to figure out what angles work and which do not. The instructions don’t help in that regard. If you are doing it in the real world, you’ll need to remove the “magic” from the tweezer so you can give the tweezer out for examination. That’s possible with some misdirection and practice. If you collect Tenyo, by all means, get it. If you want to make a cool little video and have time to practice working with it, go for it. If you are looking for something to add to your strolling magic repertoire, think twice.

cool ideas with gimmick Report this review

Gimmick is simple the card included is a hologram type look but not needed. Any playing card with a small hole punched in the middle will work for this effect. No Japanese coin or Japanese bill included but that is fine since I use U.S money. Other ideas you can go full on Mr. Miyagi. Through a handful of quarters in the air catch a single quarter with the tweezers!

Rather do it without the gaffs Report this review

I actually bought this for the tweezers. The sleight of hand method is not really that difficult just that it requires a million reps.

You will spend about a third of the amount of practice time to learn this well enough to perform it. I'd rather do the SoH method. What stopped me was that I never found tweezers that felt right, but I was getting close with my wife's eye-pluckers.

It's Tenyo so it is nicely made and well thought out. You'll need to download the English instructions; no biggie.

This is a simple, but highly visual effect. Many possibilities with this gimmick. There are online English instructions (web address on back of instructions). Can use any coin that you want as a coin is not included. Well made and the price is great.

Good effect Report this review

A great idea from Mario Lopez, however, you have to practice a lot in front of a mirror before doing it and take care of the angles, in addition to being an effect that is best seen from a distance.

Really like this Report this review

I already had an idea on how this was done before getting it. It will take some practice, but will be a lot of fun to do once I have it down. Definitely using a smaller lighter coin will make this easier to perform and hide. Also the gimmick is separate from the tweezers so I will be getting set of tweezers from dollar tree so I can ditch and hand out for inspection if needed. This is a fun playful trick and you can pull a coin from anywhere. Well worth the price for me, but you will need to practice to get it down.

I LIKE THIS A LOT Report this review

I am an older magician and my hands are dry, this made it hard for me to trigger the gimmick. I took a small piece of paper clip and super glued it to the trigger at the right angle and now I have no problems. I LIKE THIS A LOT!!!

Wonderful Illusion.... Report this review
Verified buyer Pro Privacy ON (login to see reviewer names) on November 23rd, 2020
This is actually a lot of fun to mess with. This is one of those tricks you have to press on with...but once you find the sweet spot, it really creates a dramatic illusion....would not recommend to a person new to the art...hand size is also a consideration. I think it's made well for what it does.....
