The red one is pretty much useless, unless you are performing for ray charles, the blue one I received sticks, makes noises and bounces when the black piece slides from each cut out x. I wish the blue gimmick worked as well as the red because the red needs dim lighting to be effective and even then you can see the cut out x's on top of the gimmick. I bought this at full price an to date it's the biggest disappointment of any trick I've ever bought.

I agree the blue card seems better on the eyes.. I am sure the red card is good for specific lighting situations..

I have had the gimmick for two days first day fantastic 5 stars the second day I didn't even touch it over night but it magically broke because the x will not move. I am extremely disappointed and want an refund instantly

I love this trick, it does what the ad copy states, even a novice could perform this. I have performed it and have had awesome reactions. Teaching is not bad, actually pretty short, you will know why when you get it, not much to teach really.
Now I marked it down to 4 stars since after about 2 months of off and on performing it is not working as it should. It sticks and there is no guidance on how to fix this. Some say let it sit for a day but that did nothing. Others on the Cafe have reported the same problem. I like the blue gimmick as opposed to the red, seems to be more invisible. Not sure if I want to spend another $30. Gimmick is ingenious but it must be handled with care, bend it and it is toast pretty much.
All in all a great trick, gets great reactions, eye candy and looks like real magic, I recommend it just with the caveats above!!

Unfortunately the red one is not as invisible as the blue one.
I practice with the red and perform with the blue.

This is a really powerful and visual effect but u can't be very close to them or else they will see it that's only if u use the red gimmick so use he blue gimmick for some reason it hides the method more but it can still be seen is I'd buy it just practice with audience management 👍👍👍

with the blue card it looks like trick-photography. really, really clever. and a short dvd with clear,no redundand triple instructions. very well made. hope the gimmik lasts long.

I love gimmicks and making them, this gimmick is amazing and you get two of them with a card wallet, the DVD is short but once you see how it works you don't need it, in fact this could have had written instructions, if fact you wouldn't even need instructions.
Well worth every penny!

Wow this trick is amazing and you do get your money's worth you get a wallet 2 gimmicks and a dvd . I highly recommend this trick it is very easy to perform and looks amazing .

This is an extremely good illusion. It is loads of fun to practice in the mirror and watch the ink fly across the card. I think that Cross is going to be the new standard on how moving ink should look. What you get is made in great quality and will last a long time. The DVD is lacking and wasn't even necessary so that could have been left out altogether. Great purchase. I am glad that I was able to order one when it was back in stock. Now I know why it sold out.
