I absolutely love the pads by TCC. I now have 3! I thought I was ordering the next size up from this because I debated on which to get to have in my backpack at all times and I accidentally ordered this one. No worries though, I use it to practice my false shuffles etc while watching TV etc. It's just too tiny though to perform card tricks with. I'm sure coins would be fine. You just can't really spread cards out on this. Too small. Having said...buy a TCC pad. They're awesome. Built very very well. Love the bottom to them that don't slip and the pads look classy in my opinion.

Very nice quality. Smooth surface with just enough cushion. The pad has a hard bottom, so you can practice on your lap or uneven surfaces like a bed. I think I will get the large one, I have a nice deck spread from corner to corner (diagonal) but not so much from side to side (horizontal).

I use this pad for the shells and small cups and balls. It is perfect; portable, well made, and attractive. (Sounds like my wife!) I'll never use a neoprene mat again. Get this.
