If you've been on a fishing trip, you know what it feels like to have a HUGE fish on the line... that fish is fighting to stay under water... and then just before it reaches the surface it LEAPS out of the water for everyone to see.

Harlan captures that moment perfectly with a deck of cards.

Penguin Magic and Dan Harlan team up to bring you Go Fish!, Harlan's favorite sandwich routine + his STUNNINGLY VISUAL climax to the classic sandwich plot!

Cleanly throw two Kings (the kings of fishing) into the pond (of cards) and watch as the fish (your spectator's chosen card) jumps out!

If you're new to the sandwich plot... you're in luck! The instructional video includes the routine that Harlan uses to build up to this great ending PLUS tips and tricks that will have you out there performing Go Fish! before you know it!

Highly Visual! Maximum Impact! Totally Harlan!

What a Joke!
The Video looks like it was probably taken from a Wal-Mart Cell Phone, in an Unfinished Basement, with Dan Harlan in what looks like a Bathrobe!
I sent him a Text Message about the Quality of the Video, and I got a "copout excuse " with him saying "I'm just a Hired Hand, talk to Penguin. "
This thing wouldn't be worth the price if it were Free!

This is a great ender to a sandwich effect, but it is also a great trick all on it's own. This trick is so simple to do but yet so effective. There are no forces or duplicate cards used in this trick either so it is completely impromptu. The only reason that I give it four stars is because sometimes, people aren't quite convinced and thus they aren't impressed. But, you will more times then not stun your audience with this one.

I have been preforming this trick for about 4 years and I can say it is one of my very favorite card routines. My advice to you is not to overlook this great effect, it kills and amazes! There are very few impromptu tricks this powerful. If you love card tricks that are simple and dull, do not get this trick, but if you love skillful and strong mind-blowing tricks, simply do not hesitate to get this!

I'm a stingy rater, so don't take my 4 stars as meaning I found something wrong with it...I just don't rate full 5 unless there's no way for me to say wow.

The ending, somewhat predictable in my opinion but then again it's still a smash ending.

Shows a move he claims was made by his friend Aaron, and telling by his description of said friend I can tell why they get along so well.

As for calling Penguin Magic a bunch of losers, his feelings were hurt and he's obviously not one to bow our gracefully. (He wanted to call it "Fish Sandwich," Not bad but I can see how it would and would not work.)Somewhat of an ego personality, but he's a good macgician and a very good teacher. Must admit the phone call could have been edited out but it's less than 30 secons of my time.

All in all an easy ending to an already great trick, and it just adds to the effect so it's well worth it in my opinion. Not that that means much to anyone here....why am I reviewing?

Mostly good Report this review

This is a lot of good content for the price with a four phase routine, but it has some bad points.

1. He called Penguin Magic losers! Do not insult Penguin Magic!
2. This guy is recording it in his basement. It isn't a good environment.
3. The phone rings while he's teaching, and he answers it while recording!

Over all the content is good, the teaching is ok, and the recording is aweful. You should still get this because it is a good routine for pretty cheap.
