The Block Peek left me feeling a little disappointed. It's not bad, it's just not great compared to other methods.

S.P.I.T by Scott Creasey, another full business card peek, it great, and one I feel is superior in terms of handling, deceptiveness and ease of use.

This is minor point, but the advert says it takes 30 seconds to construct the gimmick. Dee actually constructs a gimmick on the video and takes about 3 minutes. Okay, 3 minutes is not that much longer than 30 seconds, but why not tell it like it is?

I actually much prefer a switch and delayed read over a quick peek. There are several ways to do this with business cards using very simple, direct and classic methods.

OK... meaning, if you have a wallet or someother biz card peek stick with it. If this is your first venture into a peek then try it out.

I won't use it as I have a myriad of other ways which are much easier and faster and slightless ....essentially.

Could have been half the price. Meaning there are other IMO better peeks for less.

The 40 Minute video is only cause he talks a little more than required as he states in the video.

My reason for a 3 are the reasons stated and the fact that it goes on the perverbial shelf for me.

This is a really terrific way to peek a business card in a stack of them. The gimmick takes about two minutes to make and is quite slick. As an added bonus, Dee gives you an ungimmicked method that might actually be even better. Dee also gives a shout out to Paul Carnazzo's StacPAC, which is excellent too, using a different method. But with Dee's way, you end clean. I've used Looch's Hollow and Danny Archer's Drawn Again too, but I think that this is the best method around--and so worth the small price.

I Think is another bullet for my gun: there are Many way for the peek, but i have not see this until today. So, i Think top is not the "Holly Graal" of the peaking, anyway, i advise to them this tutorial!

Many will be put off by the fact that a gimmick has to be constructed. That would be a mistake for 2 reasons. 1. You can construct the gimmick within 10 minutes, with stuff you already have, and no craftwork skill is needed, and 2. Like me, after watching the video you will, most probably opt for the 'no gimmick' routines. This does come under the 'why didn't I think of this' heading and the simplicity leaves expensive and convoluted peek methods behind.

I downloaded this on pre-release directly from Dee's site. I paid a little more for it and don't regret it one bit.

I really is as simple and elegant as advertised. I have recently downloaded a few mentalism utilities put out by Dan Harlan, Matt Johnson and Dee's mate Lewis Le Val. They are all cool and depending on the situation I suspect I will used them all. I am glad to add Block to the repertoire.

Dee devotes the entire 40 minutes going over the (very simple) gimmick construction and technique. He doesn't deal much with performance elements, but it is clear that Block is adaptable to many types of routine and style of presentation.

Really glad to acquire this and am glad to support the work.

This seemed like a clever, half-baked idea. When I dug into Dee Christopher's other material, it seems like that's his norm: very creative, gets it to work for himself, but stops short of really fleshing things out.

Its always good to have multiple methods of peeking information and this is definitely one I will use especially for drawings
