If you're looking for a traditional coin purse this is the one for you. The body of the purse is
actually supple leather and the mouth is as advertised; real brass. I am able to carry the 5 half
dollar-sized coins that I want to carry with room for a couple more coins.

When this arrived, I thought, "This won't hold my dollar coins". But I was wrong. It holds four
silver dollars and an unexpanded shell. It's a snug fit, though. Can take a concentrated effort to
remove the coins from the purse with my big, fat fingers - LOL. But that's not a drawback. The
coins just don't lift/slide right out like they do with other purses. And maybe that's a good
thing. Keeps them snug/safe. If you use half dollars, this purse will probably be ideal. It seems
well-made. I like the brushed brass clasp. Take note that the brass is thin, but it still seems
slightly sturdier, and certainly looks classier, than the purses with the aluminum, (fake brass),
clasps. If you have any other TCC products, you can already accurately assume what the quality will
be. For the price, it's a great little purse; so the value is a good one. Only time will tell
whether it tarnishes the coins, (I usually use polished silver coins and have had other leather
purses that the inside of actually tarnish the coins quickly and unevenly - which, even if you use
coins with patina, is not a good thing), and whether it holds up to daily carry and use. I've used
this every day for a couple of weeks now, and it's all good. The only thing this purse is missing
is a little 'loop' on the outside, (like the old Ton Onosaka purses with the internal clasps had);
as I actually prefer, and have use for such a thing. But I've found that I'm in the minority on
that. This purse is a good value. It looks nice, suits my needs and seems well made. So...five
stars!
