B'Wave Deluxe. Same as Twisted Sisters?

Hi there,

It seems like B'Wave and Twisted Sisters are pretty much the same effect, except Bwave uses 1 packet instead of TS which uses 2.

So what makes these 2 tricks different?

B'Wave is the original and John Bannon was inspired be Max Maven's effect when he created Twisted Sisters. They use the same gaffed cards, though you need at least two sets for Twisted Sisters. Max talks about the variations that came after his effect on the download and mentions that he is not a fan of any of them.

Lucky for you, Penguin has provided a ton of gaffs with B'Wave. You will receive enough that you can do B'Wave is originally written up, or you can do one of the many variations like Twisted Sisters.

I own both B'Wave and Twisted Sisters as well as Duplicity by John Bannon. I prefer B'wave over both even though it is not examinable. Twisted Sisters is way too convoluted imo and the cards jumping from one pile to the other is unnecessary and takes away from the impact that B'Wave has. Mark Elsdon also has a version of B'wave that uses different wording to achieve the same effect. For my money B'Wave is still the best.

In the video that comes with B’Wave, Maven says that Twisted Sisters is a good trick but B’Wave is a great one.

B'Wave is simple to perform, allowing you more time to focus on presentation. It truly is a Maven Masterpiece!
