Flare

Does flare use a glow plug? Glow plug flash devices have latency between the button press and the firing.

Thanks Joshburch, sounds like the sort of delay one gets from some sort of filament heating up. Most likely a glow plug like the Pyro's and many other flash devices. They can be delicate.

I don't know if it has to do with the firing mechanism, but there is a 3-second delay between when you hit the button and when it actually goes off. This gives you flexibility during performance.
