To follow up on my previous answer, I asked about Doh replacement on Penguin's private forum for purchasers of this effect, and I wrote to Penguin directly. The Penguin rep gave me a link to replace the Doh at a very nominal cost, which I posted in the aforementioned forum. In other words, if you purchase this effect, it shouldn't be difficult to find all the Doh you need to perform it for as long as the gimmick lasts, which should be close to indefinite, as it's solidly constructed.

You carry the doh in a container to keep it moist. For the price, they could give you more than they do. There is enough to make a ball, but probably not enough to make two. As soon as I received mine my first thought was, "This will get real dirty real fast." In the vid, Roddy tells you exactly what the doh is. And while the substance is readily available online, he doesn't give you any brand names to match the exact shade of color. Hope this helps.

I would carry the dough in a container but I know that Roddy and Nick Locapo both carry the dough in their pocket without the container. The stuff is not sticky at all so it doesn't gather a whole as much lint and dust as other clay/putty/dough substances.

In the container, you get enough dough to use it three or four times if you were to throw it away after each use. You do NOT throw it away each time though.
