This requires an American penny, correct? Canadian pennies would not work here, right?

Canada no longer uses the penny at all....will this work with other Candian coins ?

Don't get the idea that all Canadian coins will work! Only some Canadian pennies will work in this trick. It's not hard to find a good coin to work with in Canada though. This trick actually works better in Canada than it does in the US.

The American penny provided is gimmicked in a special way. This will work out of the box with many Canadian pennies that are already in circulation. It will not work with any American coins in circulation, hence the gimmick.

Just found out that other coins, inclusive of your Canadian penny, will work just fine.
